Summary

  • Proposed GPU sponsorship to Prometheus startup Hackathon.
  • The theme is ‘development of artificial intelligence utilization services considering marketability’ and GPU provision is needed.
  • Mentors and college students will gather to create valuable services.

Background

Prometheus is a value-creating group where college students gather with passion for valuable challenges and experiences using artificial intelligence. Furthermore, we pursue to be a community where students who are passionate about artificial intelligence can network, share and communicate with each other as a colleague and as a mentor.

Last year, we could successfully host “2023 Prometheus StartUp Hackathon” with GPU help from AINetwork.

This year, we host ‘2024 Prometheus AI Hackathon’ with the purpose of constructing a networking space for college students who want to make valuable service/product using AI. The theme of the Hackathon is ‘AI Service Development considering marketability.’

Participants can grow by experiencing directly making service and meeting colleagues, experts and mentors. We ensure that this Hackathon will be one of the best networking spaces for AI/Founding in college society.

Scope of Work

  • Development of Artificial Intelligence Utilization Services Considering Marketability
  • Team-by-Team Service Advisory Mentoring
  • On February 3rd, Demo Day, eventually each team will announce their own service

Timeline

We need GPU on Feb 2, 2024 to Feb 3, 2024 (2 days).

  • Registration: December 18, 2023 (Mon) to January 21, 2024 (Sun)
  • Preliminary Round: January 22, 2024 (Mon) to January 28, 2024 (Sun) * Remote
  • Announcement of Finalist Teams: January 31, 2024 (Wed) at 11 AM
  • Finals and Mentoring: February 2, 2024 (Fri) to February 3, 2024 (Sat)
  • Presentation and Results Announcement: February 3, 2024 (Sat)

Specification

Required Hardware Specifications :

  • A100 (or lower)
  • We need GPU for 16~10 teams who particiate the finals.
  • Rental Period : 02/02/2024 ~ 02/03/2024

Targets

  • We want to have a positive impact on the AI network. So we will share the excellent results from our hackathon to this forum.
  • If GPU sponsorship is confirmed, we plan to promote AI Network as a sponsor of “2024 Prometheus AI hackathon”.
