9. Introduction to your proposed exhibition/event.
“dialog()” is a generative art exhibition that connects Tokyo, Taipei, Seoul, and Beijing. The exhibition explores the expressive possibilities brought by algorithms and features works by a total of 40 artists from these cities. We aim to open up new creative perspectives through diverse dialogues that transcend linguistic and cultural differences. The exhibition launched in Tokyo in August 2024 and subsequently tour the Taipei in October 2024.
10. Exhibition/event details
The art generated by computer algorithms, which began in the 1960s, eventually came to be called generic art, forming a symbolic scene in the rise of the NFT in 2021. This exhibition is an effort to rethink the uniqueness of general art and expand its potential. To this end, we aim to present the form of general art in our own interpretation while re-examining each of our unique cultures. This exhibition is also an opportunity to learn more about Asian cultures. By continuing to communicate with other countries, you will suffer from language barriers and realize your lack of understanding of cultural backgrounds. This exhibition, which is distributed from Asia to the world, has great significance in itself in trying to learn about each other’s cultures through art. 11. Your event’s proposed contribution to AI Network and Uncommon Gallery
By holding a large international tour exhibition involving 40 artists, it can contribute to the expansion of the AI network’s international art network, the spread of awareness of the Uncommon Gallery, and the increase of visitors. In addition, various events can be prepared in line with overseas participating artists and operating teams’ visits to Korea to secure a rich discourse on Web3 art.
